Last week, Carrie Underwood won the CMT Female Video of the Year award for her collaboration with Ludacris on “The Champion,” and we couldn’t be happier!

The video for “The Champion,” with vocals recorded last year at Dark Horse Recording, made its debut at Super Bowl LII® in February and continued to gain momentum during the 2018 Winter Olympics®.

“I’m really excited for her,” explains Dave Hagen, Dark Horse’s Lead Engineer and Audio Engineering Instructor who assisted on the recording. “We’ve always loved Carrie, and it’s great to see something you worked on have such an impact.”
