Pic of the Week:

Damien Rice @ Ryman Auditorium – April 1

Damine Rice is a Singer/Songwriter from Ireland. He last played the Ryman on September 13th, 2007 and it was an emotional performance that had the audience sitting in silence throughout the entire show. No fancy light show or frills, just two straight hours of songs and stories. It was bittersweet that he announced he would be taking a hiatus from touring. His highly anticipated new album titled “My Favourite Faded Fantasy” continues to receive critical praise both stateside and abroad. The record debuted #1 in Ireland, #2 in Holland, #3 in Belgium, #7 in the U.K. Rice also performed the album’s single “I Don’t Want to Change You” on “The Late Show with David Letterman”.
