Our Summer Camp is Starting Soon
Dark Horse Institute’s Summer Camp for high school students will be held at the legendary Dark Horse Recording in Franklin, TN.
You will be recording in the same studio where Taylor Swift, Matchbox Twenty, Carrie underwood, Keith Urban and countless others from around the globe record and produce their records.
Throughout three days, campers will have the opportunity to be hands on with top of the line gear that professional producers and engineers use on a daily basis.
Whether you want to be an audio engineer, or you’re interested in learning more about the entertainment industry. Our high school summer camp is a fun and eye-opening way to experience what it’s like behind the scenes.
Who Should Attend
If you’re a student in high school who has a love for recording or producing, home recording hobbyists, or aspiring artist; our Summer Camp is a great way to take your passion to the next level.
Your Experience
In three days you will learn how to set up and record a LIVE BAND. As a camp attendee, you will work along-side our lead instructor and Grammy Award winning engineer Dave Hagen.

Where
Our summer camp will be held at Dark Horse Recording, in Franklin, TN. and six miles from Dark Horse Institute. Now in its 28th year, Dark Horse Recording has been home to some of the biggest and most celebrated artist in the world. Our clients include Tim McGraw, Hunter Hayes, Korn, For King and Country, Trace Atkins, Relient K, Faith Hill, Mastodon, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift and countless others.
Tuition
Our three-day camp costs $1,200 and includes materials and lunch.
