Dark Horse Institute’s Weekend Master Class will be held at the legendary Dark Horse Recording in Franklin, TN.
Dark Horse Institute, Dark Horse Recording, and Grammy Award Winning engineer/producer Dave Hagen will host a two-day event designed to improve your recording and mixing skills.
The session is booked! Join us as we workshop and break down a band tracking session step-by-step. You will learn to level-up your recording process and maximize the equipment you have available in your own studio. You will also be a part of the mixing for the song, learning a detailed and specific mixing workflow from the Dark Horse Head Engineer Dave Hagen. He will be discussing the power of using psychoacoustics and reductive mixing templates to make repeatable and accurate mix decisions.
Anybody interested in learning to record and mix better, either at home or in big professional studios. We will be diving deep into the process, but all skill and experience levels are welcome.
In two 12-hour days you will work along-side our lead instructor and Grammy Award winning engineer Dave Hagen to capture and polish pro-level tones into a radio-ready single.
